Neighborhood Health Plan (NHP), a Massachusetts-based not-for-profit corporation, is licensed by the Massachusetts Division of Insurance as a Health Maintenance Organization (HM0) and has provided health care services in the Commonwealth since 1986. We are fully NCQA-accredited with an “Excellent” rating for both our commercial and Medicaid products. We offer our commercial clients a portfolio of high-quality health care benefit packages that are both comprehensive and affordable. Headquartered in Boston, NHP currently serves over 214,000 members who have access to a provider network of more than 3,400 primary care providers, over 12,300 specialists, and 64 teaching, community, and specialty hospitals. Our network includes nationally known, major academic medical centers such as Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Boston, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Tufts Medical Center, and major medical groups such as Atrius Health/Harvard Vanguard and Lahey Clinic. Our clients include government agencies and companies across a broad spectrum of industries including restaurants, construction, manufacturing, automotive, and education, among others. Care and disease management, pre-natal and smoking cessation programs, 24 hours/7 days a week nurse advice line, online access to health and wellness tools and information, and our Access90 program (90-day supply of certain prescriptions available for pick-up at participating pharmacies) are some of the value-added services available to our members at no cost. |
