NAIC Model Act Update
S-2285 Despite our lobbying efforts in
attempting to get the House, Ways & Means Committee to
release S-2285, the model Long Term Care bill, so that the
full House could vote on it, it died in committee at the end
of the 2006 Legislative Session. This bill had passed
the Senate but unfortunately, it died in the House. This
bill has been refiled for the 2007-2008 Legislative Session.
We will keep you posted when there is a new bill
number.
